Let's Get This Party Started

So I've decided I'm going to attempt to capture my time deployed for both my purposes and to provide an insight to my friends and family who may also be interested.  If you know me well enough then hopefully you expect to find this interesting and mildly entertaining or you may think I'm an idiot and already have moved on to what the internet was truly designed for...porn.

I will to the best of my ability attempt to proof read and clean up my language but sometimes a good rant and rave requires the reader to be subjected to what Sponge Bob refers to as "sailor mouth."  You have been warned.  Occasionally my audience will be the little hellions I left back home and I will try to anotate that so you understand my perspective.  I will from now on refer to them as "Grey Hairs;" a reference that you will only get if you have seen my wife lately, who we I will subsequently refer to as Sink (because I think its funny to refer to her as a household appliance but it also is the pronunciation of CINC, aka Commander in Chief).

All else being equal I think it is important to acknowledge that we are a nation at war against bad people who don't care about your new Birkenstocks or how well you can play the guitar at a college house party.  I personally contribute almost nothing to the current conflict and give all the credit to our men and women with boots on the ground and are constantly in harms way.  I am our services jockstrap...here to support.  I don't care about your politics, religion, national origin, race, or economic status.  If you wake up every day dedicated to making the world better than when you found it then I say good on you.  But I digress, my main point is due to that nature of my blog I will not be using names, callsigns, titles, etc. because of the potential risk involved.  Besides what happends TDY (official trips) stay TDY, but believe me this place ain't no Vegas!
